Gratitude: A New Look at It!

Gratitude is an attitude and we can also develop it into a daily spiritual practice. The scales of justice are always being weighed on our behalf. I believe Infinite Intelligence is a friendly source that wants the very best for us.

Life is also a struggle and it has pain, challenge, and confusion built into the experience. I’ve never known anyone who hasn’t had some degree of suffering and loss. How do we reconcile the scales when they almost seem at odds and in contradiction. This is where gratitude comes into play.

Gratitude has been called a principal to create with and to manifest through the Law of Attraction. It has been called a spiritually mature attitude that allows us to accept and to find the up side to those challenges. I believe it is both and more.

To be in proper alignment we must shift our state of mind and be willing to focus on something that at times is not feeling very intuitive. In the middle of challenge, despair, grief, and frustration it is not basic human nature to turn to a spiritual principal and adapt ourselves to it and align with it. To choose to focus on gratitude is an act of free will.

Romans 12:2 KJV

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The world encourages us to focus on fears, despair, uncertainty, and is often looking to the future for securing our safety or lack of it. To not conform to the world means to stay present with yourself. Learn to breathe into your problems and trust that there are answers to them. Life desires to bless you. Solutions abound.

Be ye transformed. How do we transform ourselves? You must be willing to change your point of view. You will stay in self sabotage if you continue to do the same old thing day after day and until you change your thought forms, you will not transform.

A clue given is to renew your mind. Old habits, patterns, subconscious beliefs, all continue to build a stronger story about how you are a victim and it will not allow you to expand! Only renewing your mind can open it. Renewal comes in many forms. Challenge your pain and your thoughts. Meditate and take a break from your beliefs and from thinking and move yourself in a different direction!

By doing so the promise is that you will prove or gain a knowing on what is good and right for you. What feels acceptable and balanced. What is in divine alignment.

Gratitude can fulfill this formula by being less dedicated to your pain and begin to look past what the world tells you. Find the things that are bothering you and then make a list of how those things are building you too! Find the sweet spot of appreciation for the very things that seem to be your problems. Breath a new meaning into the things that have you tied up in knots.

Gratitude is a spiritual practice that believes in the positive outcome even if it is not here yet. Believe like you know it and say it out loud like you believe it and then trust it is on the way. Allow your brain to think of the joy and what is working for you currently even if it’s just the toaster!

Gratitude can change your point of view and your habits. Wake up with a song of praise on your lips and speak out loud before you climb out of bed and tell your God what is already right in your world. Your words are powerful! Choose them wisely.

Meditate in gratitude and trust that it will begin to change your vibration and once that frequency is lifted watch out for you will begin to align. Watch for and feel for the inspiration that comes with gratitude. When something feels good, and acceptable, trust you are moving in the right direction. Alignment follows gratitude.

Make a list. Feel it. Meditate on it. Say it out loud. Breath in your current blessings and keep a space open for those on their way. When you practice gratitude you expand your heart, your energy, and your space to receive more. Gratitude is a feeling of enough! I am enough, there is enough, life gives enough, there is plenty and I am part of the flow of abundance.

This is the new look at gratitude. Follow the formula and let more than enough fill your heart and life.

  1. Don’t get stuck in the worldly thoughts of fear. There are solutions.

  2. Renew your mind. Meditate. Think in a manner of glory for all you have now.

  3. Find the sweet spot in the meaning of your life’s struggles and your blessings.

  4. Trust that good things are on their way and you are aligning so you will know them and know what is good and acceptable. Alignment is gratitude in action.

  5. Practice feeling that enough is already all around you and allow it to seed within the belief that the best is yet to come.

Blessings,
