Don't be a Fraidy Cat

Don’t be a Fraidy Cat

Children often taunt each other to ‘shame’ them into courage by hissing, “Don’t be a fraidy cat!”

Fear is so natural and is an instinct. How to overcome it’s control over us and gain our true power and birthright as strong, thriving individuals?

First-admit the truth. I’m afraid!

Second-admit that you might not know enough and so it confirms the fears.

Third-know that you have a subconscious mind trained into certain types of beliefs.

Fourth-know that you are the answer!

You can learn to recognize fear, gain the knowledge and skills needed, retrain your mind into new beliefs and create a new life and new level of courage and action steps for your life.

Cats’ are curious, independent, intelligent, and they seem to have a certain inborn knowledge that they are important. Not bad qualities for a human to acquire. Cats’ are also patient. I remember my cat Micky, the hunter, he could follow his prey and wait and wait and wait until it was the right time to pounce. More good qualities for humans’ to embrace.

Pick a fear. Any fear and this week take a non-shaming action to overcome it! Use your fear to guide you and to teach you but don’t allow it to control you or your actions. Be curious as to other ways to believe, behave, and then try something different. Feel independent of the fear and use your intelligence or that of someone else who has the knowledge you need to get where you want to go, emotionally, physically or spiritually.

Use patience and pounce when the time is right. Your fear will not know when that time is so trust your gut and just do it when you feel it is time to move. Action is a mental step and when you change your thoughts you change your actions and behaviors and then your life.

Don’t be a fraidy cat! You can do this!

Blessings,

Rainbow
