Living a Peaceful Life
Peacefulness in the unrest of the world. Is it possible? It is and it will come for a price. What do you value the most?
It is a deep question to ask. It is a good time to sit with it and find your inner compass.
People have issues. We all do. How do you want to handle yours? If you want peace then how you self manage will matter to you.
Peacefulness in a time of the great pandemic Covid-19 or the Coronavirus. World wide there is sickness, fear and death. My daughter who is a deep soul said to me, “Mom when this is all over I don’t want to have lost my humanity. I want to be a better person from the whole ordeal.” That’s a value she has chosen. She is showing who she is during this scary time. She knew toilet paper was hard to find and she wanted to take care of me and our family members. She has become a great sleuth and found out all the times of deliveries at the stores so her family could get what they needed. She has heart and actions. She is peaceful in her goodness.
What price will you pay? It takes nothing to be kind. It takes only a few minutes to meditate and get centered in your own heart. It takes nothing to say I’m sorry to someone you have hurt and it takes nothing to reach out to those around you through safe means such as facetime, texting, phone calls and other media forms that can be the bridge in this storm of mass proportion.
What do you need to make peace or with whom? Do it.
What do you need to start doing to live in peace? Take a step towards it.
What do you need to stop doing to live in peace? Be brave and push the stop button on it.
Here are some sites I have found helpful in my journey towards a peaceful life. Remember you can’t have peace without boundaries either. You don’t need other people to approve of you for you to find your own peace.
Look up these talks on peace and find the wisdom that guides you.

Living a Peaceful Life/ Thubten Chodron
Wash your hands, don’t touch your face, keep social distancing, stay home if you are ill and find out what you still feel needs to be done and realize that peace is on the other side of doing those things that will help you create it inside of you. This is also a boost for your immune system.
I’m here to support and help.
Be well.
Blessings,
